The Summer School has been running since 2005. 

For 13 years core funding came from the European Commission with additional sponsorship being provided by a variety of organisations including the Company of Biologists.

For 15 years it was held on the island of Hydra (hence the name on the posters) but we have now moved venue to the island of Spetses.
